Getting started

First, if you haven’t already, you’ll need to set yourself up for Online Banking. It is easy to do: just follow this link and follow the process.

You can download the app from either the App Store or Google Play, and once you’ve got it, you’re ready to get started. Take a quick look at the following video to see our simple 5-step registration process.

Getting started is fast and easy.

Simply have your Online Banking details to hand, and answer a few security questions.

Then, we’ll send you an access code by text to double check you’re you, and finally, we’ll ask for your password.

For easier ways to log in in the future, choose a 5-digit passcode, or you could even use your fingerprint.

Your transactions & statements

Let’s take a closer look at checking your transactions with the app. Watch this video to see how you can view your transaction details, search and sort, and even use our calendar feature.

Our credit card users can also see there pending transactions in the app so they can keep right up to date.

Making payments

With the app you need never miss a bill again. As a credit card holder, you can pay off some, or all, of your balance by selecting ‘Pay with debit card’ or you can give yourself peace of mind by setting up a Direct Debit.

With our app, you can pay your credit card bill in two ways.

Either make a quick payment using a debit card, or give yourself peace of mind that it’ll be taken care of every month by setting up a Direct Debit.

Use the account number and sort code of your chosen bank account, select a payment amount and that’s it, you’re all set up.

Current and savings account customers can make transfers between accounts, payments to any external accounts, a friend or family member, or to pay a bill.

If you need to make a payment to someone, or pay a bill, you can do it in no time with our app.

Enter the account number and sort code of the person you want to pay and they’ll be added to your list. Then simply choose how much you want to send, and when you want to send it.

Touch ID & Android Fingerprint

We’ve made it even easier for you to manage your accounts by using something that is unique to you - your fingerprint.

Now on both iOS and Android devices, log in to our app using your fingerprint. It’s quick, it’s safe and it helps you get on with the more important things in life.

At Tesco Bank, we’re always looking for helpful ways to make managing your money that little bit easier.

With our Mobile Banking App, you can now log in and manage your accounts using something that’s unique and with you at all times – your fingerprint.

As long as you’ve enabled Touch ID on your iPhone, you can switch this on for our app by heading to the settings menu.

Simply enter your passcode or password to turn it on, and you’ll be able to use your fingerprint to log in and even authenticate transactions.

Balance Peek

Mobile Banking is even easier with Balance Peek. Watch this video to see how you can check your balances quickly on the move, without even having to log in.

It’s as simple as choosing the accounts you want to see outside of your login, and tapping ‘Save’. Once you have set it up, you can check your balances in the app login screen, in Today Notifications, 3D Touch for iPhones, in Android Widgets and even on your Apple Watch.

Checking your balance at home, on the bus or even at the till, is easier than ever with Balance Peek.
In the settings, select any or all of your accounts and you’ll be able to see your balances at a glance from the login screen.
You’ll even be able to use Balance Peek on your Apple Watch, in Apple’s Notifications or using 3D Touch. Another little help from Tesco Bank.
